Wolpert's Department Store has been in business since 1927. We have been at the current location, 4111 Main Street in Loris, South Carolina, since 1938. In 1965, Robert Wolpert added on to the store doubling the square footage. Gene Mills started working for the Wolpert family in 1965 and eventually purchased the store in 1992. Due to health reasons, Gene has semi-retired from the business. However, his son and grandson continue to operate the business. Free alterations with all purchases.
